Highlights from RBC Board meeting last night:
Wayne sharing about men getting into the Word of God every day. It is so simple and yet it is what it’s all about. Wayne challenged each of these men to get into the Word – every day – for twenty one days in a row. They did it. Great things are happening.
Bob encouraging us to pray for greater boldness and faithfulness in personal evangelism.
Cinnamon roll kringle. Outstanding! Is this a new flavor? How come my mouth had never met this stuff before?
Sharing stories about individuals in our flock who are in extremely difficult situations and yet evidence supernatural joy and perseverance.
Dan reading this passage to us at the close of our meeting:
“Come, everyone who thirsts,
come to the waters;
and he who has no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy?
Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good,
and delight yourselves in rich food.
Incline your ear, and come to me;
hear, that your soul may live…
