There is a possibility that the Triathlon will be using Hwy C in front of the church this year, if construction of Highway V is not completed in time. Because it will not be known in advance, the directions below have been given to us by Dave Wohlgemuth.
All traffic should come in from the West at the I-94 Frontage Road and Hwy C.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department will have officers posted at Hwy C and the Frontage Road, our driveway entrance, and at Hwy C and Hwy V, as well as other locations along the course.
If an officer stops you, tell them you are headed to Racine Bible Church.
If you are coming from the:
North, you will need to be on the West Frontage Road as you approach Hwy C, as the bikes will be using the East Frontage Road.
West, you can approach on Hwy C.
South, you may use either the West or East Frontage Road to get to Hwy C.
East, you should use Hwy 20, or another route further South, to get to the Frontage Road, then drive North to Hwy C.
After the service, or between the two services, you will need to turn East, as the roadway will only be open to vehicle traffic in the eastbound lane. If the last bike has passed our location on their return, both directions of travel should be open for vehicles; otherwise, vehicles will only be allowed East.
