Adult Bible Fellowships are groups of 20-60 people who meet to carry out these biblical one anothers. They meet during both first and second hour every Sunday morning. Each ABF incorporates elder leadership, team teaching, and an emphasis on both Biblical teaching and Biblical fellowship. These groups regularly serve, encourage and pray for each other. We desire that every person in the congregation participate by regularly fellowshipping with other believers in one of our ABFs.
Our goal is to have a church filled with people who are united in their love for Christ and for one another, growing in knowledge and Christian maturity, equipped to serve one another in the body and bring glory to our Lord (Eph 4:11-16).

To help accomplish our purpose, we have instituted a Wednesday evening ministry called Firm Foundation. The church offers several classes, providing a situation where individuals can study various topics more in-depth in a smaller, more intimate, setting. Believers will have the opportunity to interact with the teacher, ask questions, and concentrate their studies on one particular subject for eight weeks at a time.
It is our prayer that God would use this ministry to give believers at RBC the foundation needed to grow in godliness, Biblical understanding, and service to the Body.
Fall 2018 Classes:
- How We Got the Bible Teacher: Darien Bowers – Starts September 19
Most Christians have wondered about the answers to questions like: Who wrote the books of the Bible? Who decided which books belong in the Bible? How do we know those books are inspired? Why doesn’t the Bible include other books of the Apocrypha? How do we know our copies of the Bible are accurate? What about all the different versions? Is one version better than the rest? This course will answer those questions, and provide a solid foundation for understanding Scripture for new and mature believers alike.
- Prayer Teacher: Spencer DeBurgh – Starts September 19
If your prayer life is as steady and sincere, as frequent and fervent as you want it to be – feel free to skip this class. If not – join us!
